1. Crash Tactics Attack. Tics.

Hi.

The new 65daysofstatic single is called ‘Crash Tactics’. It’s coming out in the UK and Europe soon on Hassle Records, but we’re making things more exciting by giving it away before it’s even been released. For real. RIGHT NOW. You can download it this very second, exclusively from www.indieshuffle.com. (Indie Shuffle is definitely 65′s first port of call when we we the need to shuffle some indie. We do that A LOT). Please take it, share it around, spread the word. It’s called ‘Crash Tactics’. Rhymes with ’65daysofstatic’. If you say it weird. And add extra syllables. If you’ve seen us live in the last six months you might have heard it. Guitar angles and saw waves all over the place.

It’ll be appearing on iTunes too, in a little while – 19th April in fact – but as you can get it now, why wait? There’s also gonna be a limited edition 7inch edition of this which you will be able to buy off us on tour, and which will be also available in other places from the beginning of May. The b-side is called ‘After San Francisco’.

Tell your friends.

2. Alien Vs. Pre-Order.

You can pre-order the new 65daysofstatic album, ‘We Were Exploding Anyway’ from here: http://hasslerecords.sandbag.uk.com.

If you do pre-order, you get a little MP3 that allows you to hear a tiny bit of all the songs on the album. Don’t know what good that’s going to do you, really, as the full length songs are loads better, but if you’re really itching to hear it, then this might satiate your desire for the time being.

Plus there’s a nice T-shirt designed by the now freelance and maverick Lord Bunn, which comes free with the pre-order.

He designed it in his office, which is also his bedroom, and we made him a cup of tea whilst he was doing it.

The album is available as CD, LP and Download. Heavy wax man, yeah. The pre-order will guarantee you the first edition cd, which has got some extra-nice artwork going on.

Alien was the better adversary, and aesthetically more exciting. But Predator could go invisible, so he mostly has the upper hand. What about The Thing though?

“I know you gentleman have been through a lot, but when you find the time, I’d rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH”.

3. Love Will Tour Us Apart

The best thing about Japan is that it’s in Japan, and you get to be there when you play shows there. Needless to say we had an excellent time last week, and now would be a good time to say thanks to everyone who came to the shows. Thanks! It took us 26 straight hours to get home, because the M25 was a car park, and we missed the last ever Youthmovies show, but it was worth it.

Now it’s big European tour time. Here’s a few facts you shouldn’t forget:

- We’re playing lots of dates on the mainland with the excellent Kong, whose real faces we have never seen.

- Support for the UK comes from the excellent Nedry and Loops Haunt. So you should come EARLY.

- Nedry have a most excellent album called ‘Condors’ out on Monotreme Records, and it is certainly worth your time. And Loops Haunt does stuff for Warp records, and that is also worth more of your time.

- We’ve got lots of new merch for the tour, lovely t-shirts and hoodies, some stickers and badges and some posters. And we’ll be playing loads of new songs. And some old ones we haven’t played for ages.

- If you follow us on twitter @65dos you never know, we might be giving away free guestlists from time to time.

That’s it. The facts from which we must proceed.

See you on the road.

65ers.
