We have to load-in in precisely 20 minutes, so briefly:

We’re home from Ireland now. It was fantastic, thankyou for coming and being excited, it made us play harder.
Tonight we’re in Sheffield. Playing your hometown is always weird, and we haven’t played here for a long time.

There is an XFM session floating around in internet land now, we presume, as we were Artists in Residence on John Kennedy’s show last week, a show worth listening to. We’re not artists, nor did we actually reside at XFM, as they don’t have any beds, but we did play a mean few songs from the new album very fast for them after driving home from France, and if you can find it, feel free to share it. XFM website might be a good place to start.

There’s also an interview here: www.incendiarymag.com – which is worth reading, if only for the brilliance of the questions, if not the answers, although we tried pretty hard.

So far on this tour we have one if not two cases of trenchfoot, a GPS that doesn’t like real roads, and a broken kettle drum skin that is probably irreplaceable. We’ve driven twice over the snake pass and done that thing where you turn the van lights out for a second at night and its so dark everyone gets a bit scared. Also, we broke everything, and fixed it all, especially in Dublin, where everything broke at once.

See you tonight maybe?
