Just driven 2 days from Italy to Berlin. Everyone’s gone mad from the sound of the wheels. Oscar’s here also, visiting family, so hanging out with him. Staying in nice hostel.

The last bit of the Italian tour was great, but it now feels like a year ago, so details will be patchy. Patchier still because the Barmaid on the last night gave us all tequila triples. These things spring to mind : tried to wash everyones clothes in a launderette in one go, and was unable to dry them because they weighed almost A THOUSAND KILOS. So we had to take over the cellar of a club and hang them up on a bunch of cables that we found. That didn’t work very well, so we’re all wearing wet clothes. The van alarm goes off every morning between 4am and 9am, which is great if you enjoy not getting much sleep and watching Damo leap down to the carpark in his underwear to save the day from non-existent burglars. We call them dream robbers, and they’re everywhere. Simon is a dab hand at falling over smoke-machine, monitors and leads. He’s also cracked the nail on his thumb. Some thunderstorms gave Paul a difficult headache. Rob is whittling drum sticks from timber we found in Austria.
We must extend to our thanks to Sebastien and his friends who caught the train from Switzerland to see us play in Milan, and probably had to sleep on the station platform.

So, one more evening to kill, and then we get to play a show again. If you live in Berlin, then you should come and see us at the Magnet tomorrow night. And bring us some fruit to save us from the scurvy.

Oh yeah, we went to Florence as well, and wrote an update but it got deleted due to extreme tiredness and Joe being cross in his sleep. Best not mentioned. There’s a picture of some icecream we’ll try to put up in the next couple of days which pretty much sums it all up anyway.

That’s nowhere near all, but for now, that’s all.

Until we meet again,

Joe and Paul.
